Green-Basilisk has also signed the Dutch Concrete Agreement at the end of last year. With this we expressed that we would like to get involved and contribute when it comes to achieving the climate targets from the Dutch Concrete Agreement. We are convinced that the technology around Self-Healing Concrete based on microorganisms will make an important contribution to achieving these targets.<\/strong><\/p>\n

More than two years after the signing of the Concrete Agreement, most of the preparatory work has been done. The roadmaps and the instruments are almost ready. \u201cI am convinced that we have now reached a phase where everyone in the chain can implement the Concrete Agreement. Clients’ turn!<\/p>\n

Cramer: \u201cBy submitting their requests, clients can ensure that the market will act in accordance with the Concrete Agreement. The group of clients that supports this is growing. In addition to RWS (Dutch ministry of infrastructure), ProRail, Rijksvastgoedbedrijf and all provinces, more than 35 municipalities are involved. They have already realized various projects. See for example the website of the Betonhuis. The aim is to have all public and private clients participate in the Concrete Agreement as of January 1st<\/sup>, 2022. To achieve this, the national government has promised active support. So clients, get involved! You can also contribute to the monitoring of the results and stimulate innovations by providing room for experimentation \u201d.<\/p>\n

The organisation of the Dutch Concrete Agreement is still working very hard on finalizing the roadmap. As this is still under development, but it\u2019s our pleasure to already inform you that Self-Healing Concrete from Basilisk has been included as a measure in the roadmap<\/strong> of the Concrete Agreement. As soon as more is known about this, we will of course share it with you.<\/p>\n
